Many home help and everyday support services can be funded through the care insurance fund. We give you an overview and support you with the application and billing.
An important note: The amounts below are general figures of the long-term care insurance (as of 2026). Whether and to what extent benefits are reimbursed depends on your care level and your fund. We advise you individually and support the application. This does not replace legal or tax advice.
Home help via your health insurance
For illness, surgery or certain treatments, home help may be available under section 38 SGB V. Pregnancy and childbirth are governed by section 24h SGB V. Whether and to what extent your health insurance covers the costs depends on the statutory conditions and approval in the individual case. We support you with the application and billing.

We support youSubstitute care (Verhinderungspflege)
Substitute care (Verhinderungspflege) is a benefit of your care insurance fund (§39 SGB XI). From care level 2 it also covers home help and everyday support – since July 2025 as a joint annual budget with short-term care, up to €3,539 per year. We bill your care insurance fund directly and add hours beyond the relief amount.
